No war by Rigoberta Menchú Cartoonists and illustrators from all over the world remind us that the humble dove of peace, with its white feathers represents hope for a better way of life for all the inhabitants on the earth. With their illustrations they remind us that while some of us want to show the dove of peace our hope to build a just, worthy, orderly, and ideal world; others prefer devastation and the chaos of war to keep their enormous privileges and their insatiable desire of destruction. If the dove of peace were able to express itself, undoubtedly it would say "no war industry, no war in my name" like a lot of us say "no war, no war in our name". Nobel Prize for the Peace |
