Biography Agustín Sciammarella - of italian origin - is born in 1965 in Argentina. Graduated from Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes "P. Puyrredón" and from Institute Superior de Arte de Pablo Pereyra. He publishes the first caricatures in the argentinian newspapers "Buenos Aires Herald" and "La Prensa". During his stay in Italy he collaborates with the newspapers "Il Messaggero" and "Il Corriere Adriatico". In 1992 he moves in Spain where actually he lives and works. As caricaturist he collaborates with the spanish reviews "Dinero", "Interviú", "GQ", "Tu Salud", "Down Town", "El Ciervo" and regularly with the newspaper "El País". He partecipates in the main international humour and caricatures contests. In his palmares several prizes won in the greatest Festivals and many personal anc collective exhibitions in Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Japan, Portugal and Spain. Special guest in the Casa Museo F. García Lorca, Granada - Spain (1996), in IV Bienal de Caricatura in Ourense (1997) and in Festival Internacional de Banda Diseñada in Amadora, Lisboa - Portugal (2000). In 1998 he is appointed Profesor Honorífico de la Universidad de Alcalá de Henares - Madrid (Spain).
